"Meanwhile, KBU were the best local performers settling for the second spot in the bottom half of the competition when they went down to Singapore Youth in the Pool B final.
“It was a learning curve for the local sides to gauge their strength against formidable teams in the region.
“Although KBU have just picked up Ultimate for more than three years, they are the strongest Malaysian side at the moment. Considering several of their players joined Flying Naan to form a combined team last year, they have shown tremendous improvement. They have been also been training regularly at their campus,” said Cheong, adding that they are hoping to attract more teams including Australia for the meet next year."
